Have you ever wondered what you were eating last time you were sitting in Taco Bell munching down on your yummy taco? Apparently there is a lawsuit against them saying they use a meat mixture in its burritos and tacos that contains binders and extenders that does not meet the requirements set by yhe U.S. Department of Agriculture to be labelled as "beef".
Taco Bell president fights back claiming the lawsuit is bogus and filled with completely inaccurate facts.
Taco Bell says its seasoned beef contains 88 per cent USDA-inspected beef and the rest is water, spices and a mixture of oats, starch and other ingredients that contribute to the "quality of its product." The company said it uses no extenders.
Although Taco Bell knew this information was false they could not ignore the threat to their brand, which is why they fought back so aggressively. Having these false acusations could majorly damage a company and hurt sales.
Good Luck Taco Bell!!
